Campus Health Care Center

The Campus Health Care Center is now an on-campus clinic, but was established in 1930 as a facility for maintaining and improving health, instead of a place to go when one is ill. For this reason, the clinic is called the "Kenkoin", meaning health care center.

The Center is engaged in extensive surveys and research on human health theories, in addition to providing normal medical care, health care and counseling (psychological health care). In addition to providing symptomatic treatment for illnesses and injuries, the Center has worked to enhance awareness of the need for self-help efforts. The focus has been on providing a basic understanding of health, along with health maintenance and improvement, and taking the approach of preventive medicine.
