With
consideration given to the Earth's overall environment, research is carried out on biological resources
ranging from microorganisms, animals and plants to foods and soil. The Graduate School consists of five research
areas and independent interdisciplinary study projects in wide range of topics. Numerous unique studies
are also being run, in collaboration with academic research facilities.
