Campus Security

At Tamagawa, the Security Management Section is responsible for fire and disaster prevention, crime prevention and traffic safety. The Section was established in 1983, making Tamagawa the first school in Japan to set up such a unit. The faculty and school staff have worked together to ensure the security of the children. With 50 staff, we guard the campus of Tamagawa 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The basics of safety measures at schools lie in better awareness of safety, disaster prevention and crime prevention. Disaster prevention drills, crime prevention seminars and safety education are held several times each year at all divisions from Kindergarten to University, to enhance awareness of safety in daily activities.
