About Tamagawa Academy

Authorized as an International Baccalaureate World School since 2009, Tamagawa Academy offers a bilingual English and Japanese curriculum under the framework of the IB Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme in its secondary school division. In addition to the IB, the school also provides a bilingual program in its elementary school and kindergarten as a feeder course for the IB.

Japanese language ability is not a requirement, but would be considered an asset. Additional English teaching qualifications, such as TESOL/ESL, as well as previous experience working in Japan, would also be considered assets.
