  • Neuroscience research in Tamagawa University started at the College of Engineering.
1990
1996
  • "Brain Science Research Facility" was established in "Tamagawa University Research Institute"
  • International academic forum "Tamagawa Dynamic Brain Forum" started.
2002
  • "Linguistic Information and Culture Research Facility" was established in "Tamagawa University Research Institute"
  • 21st COE program "Integrative Human Science Program" was accepted

  • "Intelligent Robot Research Facility" was established in "Tamagawa University Research Institute"
  • Genetic Analysis and Brain Activity Imaging (GBI) Laboratory was completed.

  • "Baby Lab" was established.

  • "Tamagawa University Brain Science Institute" (Jun Tanji, Director) was established, uniting the previous facilities: Brain Science Research Facility, Linguistic Information and Culture Research Facility and Intelligent Robot Research Facility.

  • Research Center Building was completed.
