Conference on Quantum Communication, Measurement, and Computing(QCM&C)
This conference is the world's largest international gathering dedicated to quantum information science. It originated from a workshop on quantum issues in optical communication, organized by Tamagawa University and co- hosted with the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) in Paris in 1990. For the first ten editions held over twenty years, Tamagawa University led the organization and management of the conference. In 1996, the International Quantum Communication Award was established. The award ceremonies have been held during the banquet sessions of each conference. In 2008. an international steering committee was formed, and in 2010, full operational authority was officially transferred to the committee. From that point forward, the conference has been managed by top experts from around the world.
