Music Festival
The music festival is one of Tamagawa Gakuen's traditional events. School life at Tamagawa Gakuen is said to "begin and end with singing”. At the root of this is the belief of the school's founder, Kuniyoshi Obara, that "singing enriches and encourages our lives”. The music festival is made possible by the importance we place on music in our daily lives, and the students from grades 6 through 12 will perform their grade choruses together with Secondary stream students on the stage of J:COM Hall Hachioji, which has a capacity of 1,500 people. The students will work with the music and the process to complete the work. The older students (9th grade and above) will perform religious pieces, operas, and other pieces from the past and present.
