Grade 6 Hiking Trip

All Grade 6 students in both the Secondary stream and IB participate in climbing Mount Shirane, the highest mountain in the Kanto region. In this trip, students also hike in Ozegahara and visit Nikko Toshogu Shrine. This is an event for students to experience the beauty and harshness of nature, and to grow as a person by spending time with their friends and helping each other. By learning about the environment and literature, and by seeing the real thing with their own eyes, students will experience many things that they cannot learn in the classroom.
