The IB Programme is an educational framework provided via the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). There are three programmes offered under the IBO auspices: the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for 3-10 year-olds; the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for 11-16 year-olds; the Diploma Programme covering the last two years of secondary education. Tamagawa Academy began exploring IB Programmes in 2007 and in March 2009 became an accredited IBO World School. The school is authorised to offer the IB Middle Years Programme and the IB Diploma Programme.
