The Learner

Grounded in the personal development principles of Zenjin and reinforced through the pedagogical framework of the IB’s Learner Profile, Tamagawa students receive an education that is among the most holistic and progressive in Japan. Our students are curious, self-motivated problem solvers who are supported by teachers drawn from within Japan and across the globe, utilising the most modern tools to solve 21st century challenges. Students are assessed using the criterion referenced models of assesment. We believe through such assessments, students will develop the skills and attitudes necessary to become life long learners.
