Music Education
Human education through song
Each day at Tamagawa starts and ends with song. Through singing students are not only exposed to a wealth of human experience they are also enabled to feel awe for such common place experiences such as the seasons. Kindergarten and elementary-school students learn the enjoyment of music through singing freely, while middle- and high-school students tackle the challenge of advanced pieces for mixed chorus of four voices with orchestral accompaniment. The feeling of accomplishment from singing on stage in pursuit of precise harmony leaves an indelible impression on students long after graduation.
